We are looking for a passionate Sports Coach committed to encouraging pupil participation, developing skills and supporting pupil success. The ideal candidate will be suitably qualified and experienced to coach across a range of ages and abilities before, during and after school, and manage and officiate fixtures.
Responsibilities- Teach well-structured and enjoyable PE lessons.
- Understand the needs of all pupils and set high expectations so that all pupils are inspired, motivated and challenged by sport.
- Take positive steps to ensure access and inclusion.
- Develop contacts with outside sporting bodies to ensure signposting opportunities are available to specific groups or individuals.
- Help to organise inter-school and intra-school sporting competitions.
- Work alongside teachers to ensure excellent provision for pupils.
- Manage behaviour effectively to create a safe, respectful and nurturing environment.
- Work collaboratively with school colleagues as a committed team member.
- Be a positive role model, motivating and encouraging pupils to participate in sport and physical activity.
