The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 ÂŁ per year.
The Events and Sampling Manager will manage the execution of events and activations. This includes overseeing the logistics of the "Guac Shack" event trailer, liaising with rigging agency, staffing agency and coordinating with event organizers to deliver memorable brand experiences. This is a 6 month role from Apr - September. Open to both fixed term contract or day rate.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute branded events, including trade shows, festivals, popâups, and gorilla street sampling activities.
- Coordinate the setup, operation, and breakdown of the "Guac Shack" event trailer at various locations.
- Liaise with rigging companies to ensure safe and efficient setup of event equipment.
- Work closely with event organizers to secure prime locations and ensure smooth event operations.
- Oversee logistics, including transportation, permits, and onâsite troubleshooting.
- Manage stock levels to ensure adequate supply for events and sampling activities.
- Ensure the "Perfect Serve" of Holy Moly products during sampling and events to uphold product quality and customer experience.
- Train and manage a team of agency staff / brand ambassadors to deliver exceptional sampling experiences.
- Act as the face of Holy Moly at events, embodying our brand values and ethos.
- Ensure all events and activations reflect the brand's premium and ethical positioning.
- Ensure all events and sampling activities comply with health and safety regulations.
- Uphold food safety standards, including hygiene protocols and proper storage/handling of products.
- Conduct risk assessments for each event and implement measures to minimize hazards.
- Capture customer feedback, engagement metrics from events and sampling activities.
- Provide regular reports with actionable insights to optimise future activations.
- Plan and execute Gorilla Street Sampling activities to introduce Holy Moly products to new audiences in highâfootfall areas.
- Identify key locations for impactful street sampling campaigns.
- Manage a team of brand ambassadors to deliver highâenergy, engaging interactions with the public.
- Be the driver of the Holy Moly Van, to deploy the staff.
- Monitor and adapt activities in realâtime to maximise engagement and product trial.
Requirements
- Proven experience in events management, field marketing, or similar roles, ideally within FMCG or food/beverage sectors.
- Full UK driving licence and comfortable driving large vans.
- Commutable to Milton Keynes for office admin days and van logistic days.
- Experience managing agency staff and ensuring high performance in dynamic environments.
- Strong logistical and operational skills, with experience managing event trailers or similar setups.
- Knowledge of health and safety and food safety standards in event and sampling environments.
- Exceptional organisational and project management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Flexibility to travel frequently and work regular evenings or weekends.
