The Governors of Holy Infant & St Anthony RC Primary School are looking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to provide individual support for children with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).

At Holy Infant & St Anthony, we are proud of our welcoming school family, where every child is valued, nurtured and encouraged to achieve their very best. As a Catholic school rooted in Gospel values, we are committed to the spiritual, moral, social and academic development of every child. We are seeking someone who shares our commitment to supporting children, can build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents alike, and willing to support the Catholic ethos and values of our school.

We welcome applications from candidates who are passionate about helping children succeed and who share our commitment to providing the very best opportunities for every child.

This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a real difference to our children’s educational journeys, helping them to thrive academically, socially and emotionally within our school community.

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold qualifications equivalent to Level 2, including 5 GCSEs at grades 4/C or above, including English and Maths.
  • Have relevant SEND qualifications and/or experience supporting children with additional needs.
  • Be patient, nurturing and committed to helping children reach their full potential.
  • Work effectively as part of a friendly and supportive team.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude, flexibility and a willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school.

This post is linked to EHCP funding and is therefore dependent upon the continuation of that funding.
