Part Time, All Year Round, 52 weeks per year, Monday to Friday, 1pm to 6pm, 25 hours per week (hours can be more flexible during school holidays). £20,000 p/a actual salary (£30,449 p/a FTE).

We are seeking to appoint a friendly, professional and highly organised Admin Assistant to join our busy front office. This is a varied and fast‑paced role, providing essential administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the school office and acting as a key point of contact for pupils, parents, staff and visitors.
The successful candidate will:
- Provide a warm, efficient and professional reception service, handling enquiries in person, by phone and via email.
- Manage correspondence, maintain accurate records and support school‑wide administrative processes.
- Assist with attendance monitoring, pupil records and school communications, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality at all times.
- Support the organisation of meetings, school events and admissions processes, including open events and prospective parent enquiries.
- Contribute to maintaining a welcoming, professional and well‑organised reception environment.
- Provide pastoral support to pupils and administer first aid (training can be provided).
This role would suit someone who:
- Has experience working in a busy, service‑focused environment (school experience desirable).
- Demonstrates excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Has strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a calm, tactful and professional manner.
- Is confident using IT systems including Microsoft Office and databases.
- Works with initiative, attention to detail and a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Is enthusiastic, flexible and committed to supporting the wider life of the school.
