Holy Cross Hospital is a registered Charity and owned by the Daughters of the Cross. Our expertise is in the provision of neurorehabilitation for our patients. We presently have 42 in-patient beds, and we also provide OP Physiotherapy for the local community.

Reporting to our Director of Therapy Services, this is a key post in working as part of the multi-disciplinary team to enable our patients and their families to positively impact on our patients' recovery and quality of life. Ideally, you would be Band 6 or senior Band 5. Start date would ideally be August.

We are looking for a committed, compassionate, energetic and skilled individual who will work with a dedicated clinical team, volunteers and patients' families. The role will be to lead in the provision of a creative and stimulating environment to maximise our patients' physical and cognitive potential by developing, timetabling and delivering individualised therapy/activity care plans.

As the successful candidate, you will be involved in the planning and organisation of a variety of functional activity sessions linked to therapeutic goals including kitchen skills, sensory activities, arts and crafts, games and social events for a broad range of different age groups and interests. You will manage three Caregivers (OT and creative therapy assistants) as part of your role. In addition, with the Specialist Occupational Therapist and MDT, you will monitor patient progress in achieving their overall rehabilitation goals.
