Holy Cross Hospital is a registered Charity and owned by the Daughters of the Cross. Our expertise is in the provision of neurorehabilitation for our patients. We presently have 42 in-patient beds and provide outpatient physiotherapy for the local community.

An opportunity has arisen for an energetic and compassionate individual to join our team as joint Activities Assistant.

We are looking for a committed and passionate individual who will support the Activities Coordinator in planning, implementing and facilitating a varied range of social activities and events for individual patients and groups of patients. You will supervise activity volunteers and volunteer drivers. You must hold an up to date and valid drivers license as the role includes driving the hospital ambulances as required.

As well as working closely with the clinical teams and volunteers you will also develop close working relationships with patients' families to maximize our patients' recovery and quality of life. As well as being kind and compassionate, you must have experience of working with patients with disabilities, ideally those with complex needs, for example, neurological conditions, brain injury, spinal injury, dementia, and learning disabilities.
