My client, a specialist SME within the Mining, Infrastructure and Oil & Gas sectors, is looking to appoint a Client Relationship Manager with French language skills to join their Infrastructure team. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, combining client interaction, coordination and relationship management within a dynamic project environment.
About the Role
Your role as Client Relationship Manager will be focused on account management of new and existing clients, building and strengthening client relationships, and executive assistant duties to the Senior Leadership Team. The successful candidate will actively promote the company and its services, ensuring delivery of value and solutions that meet client needs. The primary territory focus will be Africa and Europe, where French language skills would be ideal. Where the company engages with in-country agents, the role may also involve managing these partnerships from the UK head office.
Responsibilities
- To develop, assess and maintain effective client relationships.
- Executive Assistant duties supporting the CEO and Senior Leadership Team with a variety of tasks.
- Commercial due diligence of financial data.
- To be the main point of contact and manage all client relationships through effective communication, ensuring feedback from clients is communicated back to the internal teams.
- To produce client reporting to support internal reviews and management decisions.
- To focus on client relationships to obtain profitable further business from clients.
- To work closely with the Management Team, ensuring clients are being supported and expectations are being met in terms of delivery lead times and cost.
- To support Quality Assurance activities by ensuring all non-conformance, continuous improvement and feedback actions are reported and successfully closed out with clients.
- To engage in appropriate communications and interventions that may be required to assist and support the activities of the internal teams.
- To deal effectively with all client enquiries, issues and complaints received, and ensure prompt query resolution.
- To report and escalate any issues to the Management Team for action/resolution.
- To undertake national and international business travel as directed and as and when required.
- To undertake any tasks required by the Senior Management Team that are commensurate with the role.
Skills & Experience Required
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to build and maintain client relationships, and to identify and capitalise on business opportunities.
- Executive Assistant experience.
- Agile thinker with the capacity to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Adaptable and flexible in a dynamic business environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality of service.
- Experience working on Infrastructure and Construction projects desired.
- Articulate, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Collaborative team player who nurtures a positive work environment.
- Proactive attitude, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and execution.
- French language highly desirable, or multilingual.
