Primary Responsibilities
- Lead complex process improvement and project integration initiatives that strengthen engineering execution, cross‑functional coordination, and overall organizational effectiveness within the SMR Integration organization.
- Own the development, revision, implementation, and continuous improvement of procedures, interim guidance, templates, governance routines, and supporting work processes, ensuring they are practical, effective, and aligned with project and quality requirements.
- Lead project integration activities across engineering and interfacing organizations, including planning, facilitation, action tracking, escalation, and follow‑up for design reviews and other major cross‑functional forums.
- Establish, maintain, and improve key management tools and controls, such as assumptions logs, design decision records, risk and action registers, procedure registers, and leadership visibility tools.
- Provide senior‑level ownership and oversight for core Quality Processes team programs, including corrective action, design control, pre‑job briefs and post‑job reviews, document control, project management plans, project quality plans, interim guidance, supplier document review and integration, document template control, training programs, and Design‑Reliability Assurance Program (D‑RAP) development.
- Partner with engineering, licensing, quality, procurement, project controls, and other leaders to identify systemic process gaps, resolve complex execution issues, and implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare and present executive‑ready status reports, action item summaries, metrics, risks, decisions, and management updates to support planning, prioritization, and leadership decision‑making.
- Drive improvements to document review, approval, and integration workflows for internal engineering deliverables and supplier documents, with emphasis on quality, cycle time, accountability, and traceability.
- Lead deployment of new or revised procedures and tools by shaping communication plans, training approaches, stakeholder alignment, and change management activities across the organization.
- Provide senior project management leadership for high‑priority special assignments and cross‑functional initiatives, including mentoring less experienced personnel and reinforcing consistent execution across the Camden‑based engineering team.
