Role Overview
You will be an experienced higher education professional who works as a key member of the Registry team. The role supports the School’s academic governance, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and academic standards framework. You will help keep governance, quality and assurance arrangements robust, effective and aligned with external regulatory, legal and sector expectations, working closely with senior academic colleagues, professional services teams and governing bodies.
Responsibilities
- Advise senior academic leaders and committees on governance and quality matters.
- Improve assurance and compliance systems, and draft high‑quality reports, papers, policies and guidance.
- Interpret complex requirements and provide evidence‑based recommendations.
- Contribute to decision‑making, policy and process improvement for the School’s academic provision.
Qualifications and Experience
- Substantial experience in academic governance, quality assurance, academic standards or regulatory compliance in a higher education setting.
- Strong knowledge of UK higher education quality and standards frameworks, including the OfS regulatory framework, QAA expectations and the Committee of University Chairs (CUC) Code.
