Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated HGV Technician to join a well‑established and modern workshop in Basildon. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive team, with excellent facilities and genuine opportunities for career progression.

Working Hours

  • 40‑hour working week
  • Multiple shift patterns available
  • Saturday mornings available on an optional basis

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGV and LCV vehicles
  • Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and to a high standard
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures
  • Work collaboratively with the wider workshop team

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working on LCVs or HGVs
  • Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
  • Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding skills
  • Reliable, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
