Mobile HGV Technician
Location: Heathrow / Membury
Salary: Up to £60,000 Basic Salary (DOE)
Hours: 42.5 Hours per Week

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile HGV Technician to join a busy and growing operation supporting a mixed commercial fleet across key logistics sites and major event operations. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company involved in supporting high-profile events and venues including the O2 and major UK festivals, offering a varied workload and strong earning potential.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday – 9:00am to 5:30pm
- 42.5-hour working week
- 1 in 2 / 1 in 4 weekend rota on 24/7 callout (rota frequency dependent on staffing levels)
- Callouts are based around active job locations and local areas — no excessive travel distances

The Role
As a Mobile HGV Technician, you’ll travel between sites carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs across a varied fleet of commercial vehicles, ensuring vehicles remain safe, compliant and operational.
Fleet includes:
- DAF, MAN and Mercedes vehicles
- HGVs
- LGVs
- LCVs
- Trailers
Responsibilities include:
- Routine servicing and maintenance
- Mechanical and electrical repairs
- Diagnostics and fault finding
- Vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
- Attending breakdowns and callouts when required
- Supporting operations across Heathrow and Membury sites
Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
- Class 1 or Class 2 licence preferred
- Previous experience working on HGVs/commercial vehicles
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage a mobile workload
