We're recruiting on behalf of a leading national hire business for an experienced Technical Sales professional to join their specialist Pump division.

The Role:
- Managing and developing relationships with existing customers across the region
- Identifying and winning new business opportunities
- Driving hire revenue across pumps, pump systems and associated equipment
- Working closely with depot, regional and national sales teams to identify opportunities
- Building relationships with key decision-makers, including senior procurement and management contacts
- Preparing and delivering customer presentations where required
- Attending customer sites, trade days and regional sales meetings
- Understanding customer requirements and providing technically suitable pump and hire solutions
- Maintaining accurate customer records and sales reporting
- Working closely with operational and hire teams to ensure a high standard of service
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous hire industry experience
- Technical knowledge of pumps, pump hire, drainage, dewatering or associated equipment
- Proven background in sales, business development, account management or technical sales
- Confident developing existing accounts as well as winning new business
- Strong commercial and customer relationship skills
- Comfortable dealing with customers at all levels, including senior decision-makers
- A practical understanding of pump applications and customer requirements
- Full UK driving licence
