Holt Engineering is currently working with an innovative PCB manufacturing company based in Fareham. Due to an ever-expanding order book, our clients are looking for experienced solderers.
As a solderer, your role will be to solder components onto PCB boards using through-hole and fine soldering techniques.
Duties will include:
- Following technical drawings and soldering to required standards.
- Soldering to IPC standards.
- Soldering small components onto PCBs.
- Soldering with a microscope at times.
To be a successful solderer, you must:
- Have PCB soldering experience.
- Be able to understand technical drawings.
- Solder to high standards.
- Possess IPC certificates (beneficial).
- Have good attention to detail and be able to work to tight deadlines.
For the successful solderer, the benefits include:

Working hours are:
Monday to Thursday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, with an early finish on Fridays at 12:30 pm.
Pay rate: between £12.21 and £13 per hour, depending on experience.
