Quality Engineer Overview

Holt Engineering are working with a group of companies that specialise in the manufacturing of global high-performance sensors. As a result, they are currently looking for a Quality Engineer to continue maintaining their quality control systems.

Quality Engineer Responsibilities:

1. Acts as Quality function lead for QEHS, supporting the wider Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety functions.
2. Provide incoming inspection of drawing items.
3. Participate in Process Improvement activities, providing advice and practical assistance in implementing process improvements.
4. Complete root cause analysis and investigations on production defects, supplier deliveries, and customer returns.
5. Comply with and update QMS systems.

Quality Engineer Requirements:

1. Strong working knowledge of QMS, ISO 9000:2015.
2. Experience in Quality / Process Improvement in a manufacturing and design industry.
3. Experience with incoming inspection techniques for mechanical and electrical products.
4. Demonstrable track record of implementing and driving measurable improvement programs.
5. Ability to achieve results in a fast-moving, technological environment.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and detail-oriented, proactive and committed to delivering product reliability and customer satisfaction.
