We’re looking for an experienced Project Engineer, Project Manager or Projects Leader to deliver high‑profile engineering and operational improvement projects within a large and complex transport environment. This is an opportunity to take ownership of projects that improve reliability, performance, safety and customer experience while working alongside engineering, operational and technical specialists.

What You’ll Be Doing as Project Engineer, Project Manager or Projects Leader:

  • Leading engineering and operational projects from concept through to completion
  • Managing project plans, budgets, resources, risks and delivery milestones
  • Coordinating multidisciplinary teams and key stakeholders
  • Driving continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely on time and within budget
  • Reporting progress and presenting updates to senior leadership teams

What we’re Looking for from the Project Engineer, Project Manager or Projects Leader:

  • Strong project planning and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience delivering engineering, manufacturing, fleet, infrastructure or operational projects
  • Experience managing budgets, resources and project risks
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused approach

Desirable:

  • APM, PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent qualification
  • Experience within rail, transport, manufacturing, heavy engineering or other asset‑intensive industries
