Key Responsibilities
- Carry out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on new and used plant equipment
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
- Ensure all equipment is prepared to a high standard before handover
- Complete job cards, inspection reports, and documentation accurately
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Work closely with the service and operations teams to meet deadlines
Requirements
- Ideally experience working with plant equipment (excavators, dumpers, loaders, telehandlers, platforms or forklifts)
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Basic electrical and hydraulic knowledge
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
- Relevant qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds)
