Location Northampton, England; Sector Automotive; Salary £36,000 per annum.
Schedule
- Week 1: Mon–Thurs 7:30 AM - 6:30 PM
- Week 2: Tue–Fri 7:30 AM - 6:30 PM.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work on a wide range of vehicles.
- Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and electronic faults.
- Completing cambelt replacements, clutch repairs, brake work, suspension repairs and general mechanical work.
- Performing vehicle inspections and health checks.
- Identifying and rectifying faults efficiently to minimise vehicle downtime.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
- Maintaining accurate records of work completed and parts used.
- Managing your own workload and prioritising jobs effectively.
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, IMI or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician in a dealership, independent garage or mobile environment.
- Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding ability.
- Able to work independently and manage your own time effectively.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Own tools required.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Reliable, professional and customer‑focused approach.
