We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Vehicle Technician to join a well-established commercial fleet business covering customer sites across Luton and surrounding areas. This is a field-based role maintaining and repairing a fleet of light commercial vehicles (LCVs), working independently with a fully equipped company van. The Role
As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on customer LCV fleets at various client locations. Duties include:
- Routine servicing and scheduled maintenance on LCVs
- Mechanical repairs and fault finding
- Diagnostics using manufacturer and multi-brand diagnostic equipment
- MOT preparation and inspections
- Identifying additional repair work where required
- Completing job cards and service documentation accurately
- Delivering excellent customer service whilst representing the business on-site

Working Hours
Monday to Friday Approximately 12:00pm – 10:00pm 45-50 hours per week 9.5-hour shifts with a 30-minute unpaid break Flexibility available on start and finish times depending on workload
What We're Looking For
- Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (NVQ, City & Guilds or IMI)
- Previous experience as a Mobile Vehicle Technician
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills
- Experience working on light commercial vehicles
- Full UK driving licence
- Able to work independently and manage your own workload
