Position: Vehicle Technician – Prescot
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + Bonus + OT
Location: Prescot
Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 8:30am‑5pm, Every other day: 8:30am‑12:30pm, 30-minute lunch break
MOT licence and accreditation will be provided. Bonus paid on labour sales.
Key Responsibilities:- Undertake maintenance, service, and repair activities on motor vehicles to the highest standard.
- Carry out all work completely and effectively whilst adhering to manufacturer’s scheduled times to maintain efficiency.
- Effectively record details of diagnosis, work completed, and components utilised in line with group and manufacturer standards.
- Keep work areas clean, tidy, organised and safe from hazards to health and safety.
- Liaise effectively with colleagues and customers at all levels in a polite and efficient manner.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction are met at all times.
- Qualified to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent).
- At least 2 years’ experience after qualifying period as a Technician in a dealership or similar environment.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Good technical knowledge.
- Valid driving licence.
- Ability to work without supervision.
- Take responsibility for the quality and quantity of work performed.
