Holt Recruitment are working in partnership with a leading provider of aviation ground support equipment, supporting major UK airports, to recruit a GSE Engineer based at Heathrow. The Role
As a GSE Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of ground support equipment, ensuring reliability and safety across airport operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Servicing, maintenance, and repair of GSE equipment
- Carrying out mechanical and electrical planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently
- Ensuring all paperwork and job records are completed to a high standard
- Delivering a high level of customer service to internal stakeholders
- Complying with all health & safety regulations
- Liaising with internal teams and supporting operational requirements
Requirements
- Proven experience in HGV maintenance or similar heavy equipment
- Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
- Ability to obtain a 5-year checkable work history for airside pass clearance
- HGV Class 1 Licence (desirable)
- Relevant engineering qualification (City & Guilds or equivalent)
- Ability to pass CRC checks and complete GSAT training
