The predicted salary is between 17.1 - 20.9 £ per hour.

Location: Gloucester. Salary: £30000 per annum. Hours: Monday to Friday - 8am to 5pm.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver / Yard Person to join a well-established commercial vehicle dealership with multiple depots across the UK.

  • The Role – HGV Class 1 Driver / Yard Person Key responsibilities will include:
  • Organising and controlling vehicle movements within the yard
  • Presenting vehicles for MOT
  • Collection and delivery of trailers
  • Cleaning and preparing vehicles
  • Maintaining general workshop and yard housekeeping
  • Assisting with other ad hoc yard and depot duties
  • HGV Class 1 Driver / Yard Person Requirements
  • Previous experience working as an HGV Driver/ Yard Person
  • Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving licence - essential
  • Ideally hold a relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent
  • Must have own tools
  • Reliable, organised, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
