Salary: Β£40,000 - Β£43,000

Job type: 7:00am – 4:30pm, Monday – Friday

The Role

You will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of a fleet of generators, ensuring maximum availability for hire.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service, maintenance, and repair of diesel generators
  • Fault finding across mechanical and electrical systems
  • Carrying out routine inspections and preventative maintenance
  • Preparing generators and associated equipment for hire
  • Supporting installation and commissioning of generators on-site where required
  • Completing service reports and maintaining accurate records
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with Health & Safety procedures

Qualifications

  • Experience working on generators or similar plant equipment
  • Strong fault-finding ability (mechanical & electrical)
  • Experience servicing generators up to 100–120 kVA
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence

This role is physically demanding and involves working outdoors, so you should be comfortable working in varying weather conditions.
