We are currently recruiting for an experienced Small Plant Engineer to join a well-established and growing business in Dorking. This is a varied role working across a range of small plant equipment and facility maintenance, offering long-term stability and development.

As a Small Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and supporting a wide variety of equipment to ensure minimal downtime and efficient operation.

The Role
  • Carry out reactive maintenance, fault finding, and repairs across small plant equipment and site facilities
  • Support breakdown response and ensure equipment is returned to service quickly
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance to maintain reliability and performance
  • Assist with maintaining records including servicing, testing, and compliance documentation
  • Work alongside contractors and internal teams to ensure health & safety standards are met
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities and maintenance projects
What We’re Looking For
  • Previous experience as a Small Plant Engineer or similar maintenance role
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across mechanical and/or electrical systems
