Salary: £15 – £18 p/h (DOE)

Overview
We are seeking a skilledCNC Turnerto join a leading engineering and manufacturing business.

If you have proven turning experience, strong knowledge ofSiemens A2100XZT, and the ability to program offline, wed like to hear from you.

Milling experience (3+4 axis) would be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

– Program, set, and operate CNC turning machines usingSiemens A2100XZT controls

– Produce precision components to tight tolerances across a range of materials

– Perform offline programming for efficient production runs

– Interpret engineering drawings and ensure all components meet specification requirements

– Select and set up appropriate tooling and work-holding devices

– Conduct first-off and inâprocess quality inspections

– Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues promptly

– Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment

– Collaborate effectively with both the production and engineering teams

– Support continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop

Requirements

– Solid experience as a CNC Turner (essential)

– Proven proficiency with Siemens A2100XZT controls

– Experience in offline programming for turning operations

– Comfortable with 3 and 4 axis CNC milling (advantageous)

– Confident in reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings

– Strong ability to work to tight tolerances and high standards
