We are working with the UK’s largest automotive service, maintenance and repair business in the Chorley area who are looking for a vehicle technician to join their busy Service Department.

Job Role: MOT Tester / Technician

Location: Chorley

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 OTE

Working days: 5 days a week – no Sundays

Requirements:

  • Current MOT testing licence
  • Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair / City and Guilds Level 3 Motor Vehicle Maintenance / Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair / City & Guilds Automotive
  • Experience working within a car dealership or an independent garage / car supermarket / service centre
  • Completed your MOT tester course class 4, 5 or 7
  • Experience working on vehicles / cars / LC
  • Ideally hybrid / EV trained – if not training will be provided
  • Full driver’s licence with less than 9 points
  • Team player willing to assist in workshop performing light vehicle maintenance when not performing MOTs
