Salary: Up to £45,000 OTE (£37,000 Basic + Uncapped Bonus)

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established automotive employer for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a busy, modern workshop. What's on Offer

  • Basic salary up to £37,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)
  • On Target Earnings up to £45,000
  • Uncapped productivity and performance bonus scheme
  • Full-time, permanent position
  • 40-hour working week
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm
  • 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (8:30am-12:30pm)
  • Ongoing technical training, including Hybrid & Electric Vehicle qualifications
  • Excellent career progression within a growing automotive business

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for:

  • Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards
  • Completing vehicle health checks and diagnostics using the latest equipment
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
  • Completing warranty and repair work accurately
  • Road testing vehicles where required
  • Maintaining accurate job records and workshop documentation
  • Delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service

What We're Looking For

  • NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic or Service Technician
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • A positive attitude with a commitment to quality and teamwork
  • Experience within a franchised dealership is advantageous but not essential. Applications from technicians working in independent garages are also welcomed.
