Location: Blantyre
Salary: £20.50 per hour + overtime
Hours: 37 hours per week | Full-Time, Permanent
Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

The Role of the HGV Auto Electrician / PSV Auto Electrician
Working in a highly equipped, modern depot, your day-to-day will focus heavily on complex electrical systems:
- Diagnosing and carrying out vehicle electrical repairs, routine servicing, and parts replacement.
- Diagnosing complex vehicle electrical faults and specifying the correct method of repair and parts to be used.
- Utilising advanced diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot fleet issues.
- Conducting vehicle road testing to identify specific defects or sign off on repairs.
- Ensuring full compliance with health and safety (HSE) guidelines and standard operating procedures.
What You Need as HGV Auto Electrician / PSV Auto Electrician
- NVQ / SVQ Level 3 (or City & Guilds equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, Auto Electrics, or a closely related engineering discipline.
- Strong electrically biased experience with proven fault-finding and diagnostic capabilities.
- Experience working on heavy commercial vehicles (HGV/PCV) is highly preferred, but we welcome skilled electrical engineers from light commercial or military backgrounds looking to transition.
Valid UK driving licence. (A PCV licence is a bonus, but the company will fully support and fund you to achieve this!).
