We are recruiting for an experienced Agricultural Engineer / Service Technician to join a well‑established team covering the Marlesford & surrounding areas. This is a mixed field and workshop‑based role involving the servicing, maintenance, and repair of modern agricultural machinery, along with breakdown response and planned maintenance work.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, service, and repair agricultural machinery
- Carry out mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diagnostic fault finding
- Work on modern equipment including tractors, combines, GPS, and telematics systems
- Complete planned maintenance and breakdown repairs
- Liaise with customers and provide technical support
- Maintain accurate service records and job reports
- Work independently and as part of a team when required
- Follow all health and safety procedures
Skills & Experience Required
- Experience as an agricultural, plant, or heavy machinery engineer
- Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding skills
- Experience with modern agricultural systems preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage workload
- Strong customer‑facing communication skills
- Good mechanical and electrical knowledge
- Full UK driving licence required
