HGV Technician Location: Heathrow Hours: 4 on 4 off Salary: £53,000 + Overtime + Benefits We are recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician / PSV Technician to join the engineering team of a leading international passenger transport operator. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a modern fleet within a busy, well-equipped workshop, carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs to the highest standards. The Role of the HGV Technician Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on PSV and commercial vehicles. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and pneumatic faults. Complete preventative maintenance inspections (PMIs). Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to DVSA standards. Accurately complete job cards and maintenance records. Work closely with the Workshop Chargehand and Engineering team. Support apprentices and promote safe working practices. Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the workshop. What you’ll need as the HGV Technician City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. Previous experience working on PSV, Bus, Coach or HGV vehicles. Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills. A commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. A positive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
