About the Role
I’m recruiting on behalf of a leading equipment hire company for an experienced Small Tool Fitter.
You’ll be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of small tools, 2/4 stroke engines, and light equipment. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone with strong mechanical skills who enjoys working independently and delivering high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, repair, and maintain small tools.
- Diagnose and repair faults on 2/4 stroke engines and mechanical systems.
- Carry out inspections and ensure all equipment is safe and ready for hire.
- Maintain safety, compliance, and service standards.
- Provide great customer service on-site.
About You
- Previous experience as a Small Tool Fitter, Plant Fitter, or Maintenance Technician.
- Mechanical knowledge of 2/4 stroke engines and small plant machinery.
- Able to diagnose and repair faults independently.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and organised.
