The MET Technician / Strip Fitter role offers a salary of circa £61,000 per annum plus bonus and benefits. The position covers two sites from Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:30pm, with flexible start and finish times. This is a permanent role.

Our client, a busy Accident Repair Centre, is looking to expand their team with the addition of an experienced MET Technician / Strip Fitter who is flexible to cover multiple sites in Betchworth and surrounding areas.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Removing and refitting parts to ensure body repairs are to a very high standard
  • Dismantling and rebuilding vehicles as instructed
  • Reporting unseen damage, absent from estimate, as soon as it is identified
  • Maintaining a good level of efficiency and attention to detail
  • Working effectively in a team and as an individual

Minimum Requirements:

  • Time served and/or qualified to City & Guilds or NVQ level
  • Previous experience as an MET Technician
  • ATA qualification is advantageous but not essential
