Join a Market-Leading Main Dealership Group. A well-established and respected main dealer is seeking an experienced Plant Engineer to join their team covering Preston & surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a professional and well-supported engineering environment, working on some of the most reliable and advanced plant machinery in the industry. Must have experience working alone as this position will be working remotely at customers' sites.
The Role:
- Service, maintain, and repair a wide range of construction and plant equipment
- Diagnose faults across hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Perform breakdown and planned maintenance at customer sites
- Utilise diagnostic tools and create digital service reports
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams
Package & Benefits:
- £(phone number removed)+ Basic salary £50,000+ OTE (with door-to-door pay and enhanced overtime rates)

Requirements:
Essential:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Qualifications & 5 years minimum as a Field Service or Mobile Plant Engineer
- Solid understanding of modern hydraulics, diesel engines, and diagnostics
- Ability to work independently and manage customer expectations on-site
Preferred:
- Background with OEM/dealership equipment
- Quarry or heavy earthmoving experience desirable
- CSCS / IPAF / Quarry Passport
