We are currently recruiting for an experienced Workshop Supervisor / Foreman to join a well-established machinery and equipment hire business based in the Bristol area.

This is a hands-on role suited to somebody from a plant, access, lifting or specialist equipment background who is looking to take the next step into a leadership position while remaining technically involved day-to-day.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting workshop operations, overseeing engineers, maintaining equipment standards and ensuring machinery is prepared and ready for customer use.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervising workshop engineers and supporting daily operations
  • Ensuring equipment servicing, inspections and repairs are completed efficiently
  • Assisting with diagnostics across hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems
  • Supporting breakdown coordination and workload planning
  • Managing workshop paperwork, parts and job allocation
  • Maintaining high standards of health & safety within the depot
Requirements:
  • Previous experience within plant, access, tool hire or related industries
  • Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical, hydraulic or electrical systems
  • Experience leading or mentoring engineers advantageous
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification desirable
  • Full UK Driving Licence
