Parts Supervisor Salary: £39,140 Hours: Monday-Friday only, 8:00am-6:00pm - 45 hours per week Permanent You’re already the person people ask when there’s a problem with an order, the workshop needs something yesterday or somebody can’t find a part. The only problem? Your job title still says Parts Advisor. This Parts Supervisor position gives you the opportunity to change that. What makes this worth a move? If you’re a Senior Parts Advisor, Parts Supervisor or experienced Parts Advisor who already takes responsibility for the people and processes around you, we’d like to hear from you. What you'll be doing Supporting the day-to-day running of the Parts department Helping organise and support the Parts team Managing stock, orders and availability Liaising closely with the workshop and wider Aftersales team Maintaining accurate parts processes and systems Dealing with suppliers and resolving stock or order issues Helping maintain department standards and performance What you'll need You’ll need good automotive Parts experience and a solid understanding of how a busy Parts department operates. Previous supervisory experience is useful, but attitude and evidence that you’re already operating above standard Parts Advisor level matter more. Main Dealer experience is essential, although strong candidates from automotive independents, specialists or similar environments will also be considered if you have some involvement in Main Dealer processes.
