We are currently recruiting for a Semi-Skilled PSV / HGV Technician to join a busy and modern workshop in Norwich, working on a fleet of buses and coaches. This is a great opportunity for somebody looking to develop their skills within the PSV industry and progress their career with a well-established operation. The successful candidate will assist qualified technicians with the maintenance, servicing and repair of buses and coaches while gaining further hands-on experience in a professional workshop environment.
Duties & Responsibilities of the PSV Technician:
- Carrying out routine servicing and inspections on buses and coaches
- Assisting with mechanical repairs and fault finding
- Working on brakes, suspension, steering and basic electrical systems
- Supporting MOT preparation and vehicle safety inspections
- Maintaining high workshop and health & safety standards
- Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to company standards
Requirements of the PSV Technician:
- Previous experience working on PSV, HGV, LGV or automotive vehicles
- Basic mechanical knowledge and workshop experience
- A strong willingness to learn and develop
- Ability to work well within a team
- Full UK driving licence preferred
