We are currently recruiting for a skilled Service Engineer with experience across Plant and Agriculture to join a well-established and growing engineering business operating across Central Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to work on a wide range of modern agricultural and construction equipment within a busy and supportive depot environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for the servicing, repair and diagnostics of agricultural and plant machinery. You will be working both independently and as part of a skilled engineering team, supporting workshop operations and ensuring machinery is maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, repair and maintenance of agricultural and plant machinery
- Carrying out pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on equipment
- Fault finding and diagnostics using laptop-based systems
- Working on mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems
- Supporting ongoing manufacturer training with leading brands
- Working as part of a busy engineering team
- Supporting colleagues and assisting with workload where required
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
Requirements
- Experience in agricultural, plant, construction or similar machinery servicing
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical systems and diagnostics
- Experience using diagnostic laptop systems preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Strong team player with ability to work independently
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Flexible approach to working hours and overtime when required
