Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Vehicle Technician to join our team, covering the Southampton area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced technician who enjoys working independently, solving problems on the go, and providing top-quality service directly to customers at their homes, workplaces, or roadside locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on a variety of vehicles at customer locations
- Carry out routine maintenance tasks, safety checks, and MOT-preparation work
- Use diagnostic tools to identify mechanical and electrical faults
- Ensure all work is completed to high safety and quality standards
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain accurate records of work done
- Maintain and manage stock in the mobile van unit
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience in vehicle diagnostics, repair, and servicing
- Full UK driving licence (clean or with minimal points)
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Flexible and adaptable with a proactive attitude
