Hours: Monday to Friday, Day Shift (e.g. 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Vehicle Technician to join our team, covering the Southampton area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced technician who enjoys working independently, solving problems on the go, and providing top-quality service directly to customers at their homes, workplaces, or roadside locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on a variety of vehicles at customer locations
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks, safety checks, and MOT-preparation work
  • Use diagnostic tools to identify mechanical and electrical faults
  • Ensure all work is completed to high safety and quality standards
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain accurate records of work done
  • Maintain and manage stock in the mobile van unit

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent qualification
  • Proven experience in vehicle diagnostics, repair, and servicing
  • Full UK driving licence (clean or with minimal points)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Flexible and adaptable with a proactive attitude
