- As an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter, you will be responsible for:
Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs in line with manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.
- Diagnosing faults efficiently using the latest diagnostic equipment and repair methods.
- Following warranty procedures throughout the repair process and completing all relevant documentation accurately.
- Identifying and reporting any additional vehicle defects to the Workshop Controller to ensure the highest standard of work.
To be successful in this role as a HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter, you should have:
Previous experience working as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter is essential.
- Own tools required.
- Apprentice trained and qualified to City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
- A full UK driving licence.
- Class 1 or Class 2 licence would be advantageous.
