We are recruiting for a Yard Operative / Delivery Driver to join a successful Agricultural & Groundcare dealership in Albourne. This is a hands-on role combining yard duties, manual work, and local deliveries, supporting both depot presentation and customer service.
The Role:
- Load and unload machinery safely (training provided)
- Deliver and collect machinery and parts using company vehicles (up to 3.5T flatbed)
- Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records
- Carry out basic vehicle checks and inspections
- Assist customers with machinery purchases or repairs
- Support stores operations and stock movements
- Undertake general yard duties including grounds maintenance, cleaning, painting, and basic assembly work
- Ensure all health & safety procedures are followed at all times
What We’re Looking For:
- Full UK driving licence (clean or minimal points)
- Previous delivery or yard experience preferred
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour
- Confident working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Good communication and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Trailer towing experience, forklift licence, or sector experience (horticultural, agricultural, construction) desirable
Package & Benefits:
- Hours: 39 per week Mon–Thurs: 8am–5pm & Fri: 8am–4pm
- Overtime paid at time and a half after 39 hours
- Benefits: 32 days holiday (including bank holidays)
