Salary: £35,000 - £40,000+ Basic DOE + Overtime (£40,000 - £45,000 OTE)

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 5:00pm, Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm

Holt Recruitment is working on behalf of a well-established and respected business within the Agricultural & Groundcare sector to recruit a Garden Machinery Engineer covering Kent areas. This role offers a mixture of mobile and workshop-based work, servicing and repairing a wide range of garden, turf, and golf course machinery.

The Role:

  • As a Garden Machinery Mechanic, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of equipment, including:
    • Ride-on and pedestrian mowers
    • Golf course maintenance equipment
    • Turf machinery
    • Compact tractors
    • Hedge trimmers and strimmers
    • Utility vehicles
    • Small petrol and diesel-powered equipment

You will split your time between customer sites and workshop as/when required, providing high levels of service and technical support.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a full UK driving licence
  • Has experience working on garden machinery, turf equipment, golf machinery, agricultural equipment, plant machinery, or small engines
  • Has strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical fault-finding skills
  • Is confident working independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrates excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Holds a land-based engineering or relevant mechanical qualification (advantageous but not essential)
