We are seeking skilled and motivated HGV Master Technician / PSV Master Technician to join a busy engineering team responsible for maintaining and repairing a modern fleet of buses. Whether you're currently working on trucks, commercial vehicles, fleet vehicles or buses, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role of the HGV Master Technician / PSV Master Technician:
- As an HGV Master Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining a fleet of passenger service vehicles to the highest safety and reliability standards.
- Act as the principal technical support resource for engineering teams across the Glasgow depots.
- Lead complex fault diagnosis activities, providing expert guidance to technicians and engineering management.
- Support the rollout and maintenance of diagnostic systems, software updates, and emerging vehicle technologies.
- Deliver on-the-job coaching and technical mentoring to enhance workshop capability and diagnostic performance.
- Attend specialist training programmes and share knowledge to support the ongoing development of the wider engineering team.
- Ensure technical information, manufacturer updates, and best practices are communicated effectively across all depots.
- Work closely with the Group Technical Team on strategic engineering projects, reporting progress and findings to senior engineering leadership.
Ideal HGV Master Technician / PSV Master Technician will have:
- NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Must have knowledge of Mercedes Engines and ZF Gearboxes.
- Level 4 hybrid EV trained and minimum of level 3 NVQ heavy vehicle / PCV tech.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Experience working on heavy vehicles or commercial vehicles.
- Good understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
