We are recruiting for an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join a well-established plant and tool hire business operating across the Midlands.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking for a stable, long-term role within a relaxed and supportive working environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a fleet of plant equipment both in the depot and on customer sites across the Midlands.
Equipment Includes:
- Excavators (1t – 5t)
- Dumpers
- Rollers
- Telehandlers (6m – 17m)
- Small plant & hire equipment
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Plant Fitter / Plant Engineer
- Essential: Experience working on modern JCB Telehandlers
- Strong knowledge of Tier 4 & Tier 5 engines
- Full UK Driving Licence (max 6 points)
- Good communication skills
- Team player with flexible attitude
Package
- £32,000 basic salary
- Overtime available: Weekdays: Time + ¼; Saturdays: Time + ½
- Company van (private use permitted)
- Company pension
- Monday–Friday working hours (8am – 5pm)
- Stable, long-term role
