Motor Trade Accountant – Derby – Main Dealership – £45,000 - £50,000 Our client, a successful motor vehicle dealership, is looking for an experienced Accountant to join their busy team in Derby. Role: Motor Trade Accountant Hours: 40 hours per week Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 basic Location: Derby Accountant Roles and Responsibilities Provide support to the dealership management team to produce accurate monthly and annual accounts in accordance with statutory requirements. Assist the dealership management team with monthly management accounts and information. Support with budgeting and forecasting. Manage banking and account reconciliations. Assist with cash flow, VAT and employment tax returns. Take an active role in the management of debtors and creditors.Minimum Requirements Previous experience working within the Automotive sector, ideally within a main dealership environment. Previous experience working as an Accountant within the Motor Trade. Excellent communication skills, both within the business and when dealing with external providers. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. The ability to work effectively as part of a busy dealership team.
