We are currently recruiting for an experienced Forklift Engineer to join a growing and well-established materials handling business covering the Bradford area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Forklift Engineer looking for a strong work-life balance with a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, whilst working on a wide range of forklift trucks and materials handling equipment.

The successful Forklift Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Service, maintenance and repair of forklift trucks
  • Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
  • Attending breakdowns and carrying out reactive repairs
  • Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Delivering excellent customer service across client sites

To be considered for this Forklift Engineer role, you will ideally have:

  • Previous experience as a Forklift Engineer, Plant Engineer or HGV Engineer
  • Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
  • Experience working on materials handling equipment
  • Full UK driving licence
  • A proactive and self-motivated attitude
