Repair engines, braking systems, suspension and associated components. Complete MOT preparation and rectify defects. Keep maintenance and repair documentation accurate. What the ideal HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter would need A background in HGV maintenance and repair. NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent practical experience. Confidence diagnosing faults and completing repairs. Good organisation and the ability to manage allocated work.
