We are recruiting for a motivated and reliable Parts Advisor to join a busy depot in Colchester. This is a varied role within a well-established business, supporting customers and internal teams with parts supply, stock control, and day-to-day operations.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for assisting customers with parts enquiries, processing orders, and supporting the smooth running of the parts department. This role combines customer service, administration, and stock management within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deal with customer enquiries face-to-face, over the phone, and via email
- Process parts orders and keep customers updated on progress
- Provide a high level of customer service at all times
- Manage stock, including receiving, checking, and storing parts correctly
- Assist with stock control and inventory management
- Support the wider team with day-to-day operations
- Maintain accurate records and system updates
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in parts, retail, or a similar environment
- Background in agricultural, groundcare, or plant machinery desirable
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Good IT skills and ability to use internal systems
- Organised, proactive, and able to work as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence required
