Plant Delivery Driver – Class 1
Location: Ipswich
Salary: £45,000+ Basic + Overtime
Hours: Full-time, Permanent
Holt Recruitment are working on behalf of a successful Plant Hire company who are looking for an experienced Class 1 Plant Delivery Driver to join their team in the Ipswich area.
The Role
- Deliver and collect plant equipment from customer sites.
- Primarily transporting Telehandlers, Rotos and Smart Tanks.
- Safely load, secure and unload machinery.
- Complete vehicle checks and delivery paperwork.
- Provide a professional and reliable service to customers.
- Work closely with the depot team to ensure deliveries run smoothly.
About You
- Full Class 1 (C+E) HGV Licence.
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous experience delivering plant machinery preferred.
- Good knowledge of plant and machinery.
- Strong load securing knowledge; NPORS Loader/Securer advantageous.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable, organised and safety-conscious.
- Maximum 3 points on licence.
