We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and highly respected manufacturer for a Warehouse Assistant to join their growing team in Poole.
As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of warehouse operations. This includes handling goods in, supporting stock control, assembling accessories, and preparing orders for dispatch in a fast-paced and quality-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities for the Warehouse Assistant
- Receiving and checking incoming goods against purchase orders
- Reporting damaged stock, faults, or discrepancies
- Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
- Supporting stock control and maintaining organised stock areas
- Assisting with production packing and goods-out activities
- Ensuring all tasks are completed in line with company procedures
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience within goods in/out operations
- Stock control or productivity-based environments
Essential
- Clean driving licence
- Valid forklift licence
