Overview
Holt Engineering are recruiting for a permanent Stores Person to join our client in Weymouth. This company manufactures precision engineering components and can offer a great working environment.
This is a permanent position working full time, Monday to Friday.
Salary: from £12.21 – £13.50 per hour (depending on experience).
Responsibilities
- Goods in receipt from internal and external sources
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Operating electric forklifts
- Monitor and track shipments, update status, and any delays
- Understand specifications and technical drawings
- Using hand tools to cut materials
- Add stock movements onto the system
- Working across various departments assisting as and when needed
Requirements
- Previous stores experience within an engineering background
- Computer literate
- Previous experience operating forklifts
- Goods in/out experience
- Comfortable with manual handling
- Basic hand held tool experience
