Holt Engineering are working with a technical manufacturer based in Portsmouth. They are looking for an Assembly Technician to join their dynamic team. You will play a key role in assembling mechanical components and systems to support their growing operations. The Assembly Technician role is offered as a permanent contract. Working Monday - Thursday, with no weekend work. Salary £27,000-£29,000 per annum. Overtime is available at an increased rate.
Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical components and sub-assemblies using hand tools and power tools.
- Perform visual inspection to ensure the product meets specifications.
- Assemble from drawings and diagrams.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
- Basic mechanical assembly experience.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Read and work from diagrams.
- Use of hand tools.
- Able to go through security clearance.
